freshly fallen

Hellloooooo to my favorite season!

I know I'm not alone in my feverish love for this time of year. The crisp air, warm lattes, and promise of holidays to come, all add up to this season so many of us love best. My dearest Autumn, I'm glad your back.

While the weather may still be trying to DTR it's relationship with fall, we are fully embracing it in my home. Garlands are up, wreaths are hung, and pumpkins are out in full force. I particularly love the contrast of the earthy, warm pumpkins against the cold, clean marble. You can find the tray here (I purchased it during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.)

I struggle a bit finding the perfect collection of pumpkins to use around and in front of the apartment - not to bumpy, complimentary colors, with good stems. These three little munchkins just so happen to be from Walmart, believe it or not. I had already canvassed my local grocery store, Whole Foods, and Trader Joes, all to feel nothing more than slightly discontented.

But a trip for school supplies at Walmart introduced me to their surprisingly vast pumpkin supply - small, large, orange, green, white, gourds, squash, etc. These three came in a bag for a mere $3. And everything else I saw was the same price point or even less.

I think Walmart just waltzed its way into my Autumn loving heart as my number one pumpkin supplier.

How do you like to incorporate fall decor into your home? Do you go all in with browns and oranges, or do you tone it back with soft beige and taupe?
