Clean lines, clean lines, clean lines: top three favorite things about this house!

You all know how much I love a white house, and this is no exception! Plus the added contrast of the dark wood on the doors and the pop of color in the chairs make me love it even more. I'm also a sucker for a metal roof, I think it really adds to the cleanliness of the facade, where as shingles would cause too much busy-ness.

Between the lines of the metal roof, the vertical siding of the 2nd story, and the geometric elements contributed by the windows, the house is given a specific depth without contrast. It makes a basic white house so much more interesting. Even the modern design of the steps, with the simple cut to the right as opposed to a straight shot or a gentle curve help keep the facade clean and enjoyable.

What are your favorite elements that draw you towards house's facade?
